We are a teaching church. Sound doctrine must be central in these confusing and uncertain times. Our fellowship is small with a heart for God and his word. Perhaps you can be part of helping us grow.
Scripture must be taught accurately and this is a major reason we are here. We endeavor to see the truth God has revealed in his written word. This is the primary way his Spirit speaks. It is the Word of God that brings life and freedom in his love. Love rejoices in the truth and sets us free to consider others above ourselves.
The Apostle Paul explains that there are correct and incorrect ways of interpreting Scripture. There are accurate and inaccurate approaches to communicating the word of God. Our prayer is that we should all communicate God's word clearly, accurately and according to the intentions of His heart. A major desire of His heart is salvation for the Jewish people. God wants us to understand that our salvation is from the Jews. Jesus was Jewish, and He will return as the King of Israel as well as the Son of God. So, we must emphasize what Scripture emphasizes as His imminent return approaches.
We are between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC, on the southwest side of Columbia, MD, by Clarksville in Howard County. The drive to our church is out in the country a bit and is quite pleasant.
